Watermain Flushing - March 27 & 28, 2024

Please be advised that South Okanagan Waterworks Ltd. will commence watermain flushing Wednesday, March 27, 2024 - Thursday, March 28, 2024 between 8am-4pm.
Residents may observe some discoloration or sediment in the water. If you experience dirty water, simply run your cold water taps only and/or garden hose until the water runs clear. Minimizing the amount of hot water usage will limit the amount of sediment that could potentially settle in your hot water tank. Residents may also wish to isolate in home treatment systems during the flushing program until turbidity has decreased to normal levels. In addition, residents should check the water quality before laundering clothing during this time to minimize potential staining or discoloration.
